Terms of Use

1. About Grinix

Grinix is a delivery and errand platform in Owerri, Nigeria. It connects customers with local food vendors, shops and errand runners. In these terms, "Grinix", "we" and "us" mean the company operating the Service, and "you" means anyone who uses it.

2. Accounts

To place an order or offer services through Grinix you need an account. When you create one, you agree to:

• be at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally able to enter into a contract;
• give accurate, current information and keep it up to date;
• keep your login details private and not share your account;
• tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Administrator accounts are for authorised Grinix staff only.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and with respect for other people. You must not:

• break any law or use the Service for anything illegal;
• pretend to be someone else or give false details;
• place false, fraudulent or prank orders;
• harass, threaten or abuse riders, vendors, customers or Grinix staff;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service or its security;
• upload viruses or other harmful code;
• misuse promotions, referral codes or credits.

4. Vendors and errand runners

If you join Grinix as a business owner or an errand runner, you must also follow the requirements in our Terms and Conditions and any onboarding agreement we give you. If those documents conflict with these Terms of Use, the more specific document applies.

5. Content and ownership

The Grinix name, logo, design, software and everything else we provide through the Service belong to Grinix or its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not use our branding without written permission.

If you post reviews, photos or other content, you keep ownership of it. You give us a non-exclusive licence to use, display and share it as needed to run and promote the Service. Only post content you have the right to share.

6. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to services we don't control, such as maps, payment providers and app stores. Their terms and policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or remove features at any time, for example for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

8. Suspension and ending use

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, misuse the Service, or put others at risk. You can stop using the Service at any time. Ending your use does not cancel anything you already owe.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Grinix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Your information

We collect and use personal information only as needed to run the Service, and we handle it in line with applicable Nigerian data protection law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after an update, you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
